Had fun painting up the last few details for this section of @necro_studio hive wall, lots of meaty colors and inks, and couldn’t resist making a little egg objective marker from a couple spare bits as well

Built frames to support walkways and hull parts from sprue, and placed the modular parts together I filled in gaps in the sections, added greeblies and feel like I could keep going forever so it’s time to call this ship is ready for paint!

My goal last night was to clear off the workbench, and get this ship ready to paint. That was a bit unrealistic but I did manage to get its parts much more together and all into one form. It needed some spacer foam to raise the side hull sections up to the center, and I’m still trying to keep it all modular. I abandoned the cylinders since I thought this needed two symmetrical engines. I blocked out the parts for some much smaller internal engine bays,

I need to get this spaceship crash to a stopping point. I’m not sure I had any idea how big it wanted to be when I started it. Some times a project will spring up quickly and stall out just as quickly. It can become a problem if it expands to cover the workbench.
