Fence

I started some #photogrammetry over the weekend, making #3dmodels from #terrain. . .

Arcade

Need to work on my computer today. Been putting it off… still am… Both monitors have gone black, hopefully just a loose connection somewhere… #troubleshootinghell

Working on the computer cabinet inspired me to finish getting the arcade buttons and joysticks hooked back up again. When I left off on it I’d added a few buttons and had it 90% installed but ran out of the proper gauge wire. There are 8 buttons per player plus 4 for each joystick, and pinball bumpers. I’m so glad I labelled everything otherwise there would be no making sense of all this. #spaghetti #arcade #mame #xarcade #neogeo

#arcade desk put back together. I had to use a bit of bailing wire and scrap wood to get the spare monitor fitted into the bezel, until I find a good replacement, but its working again. I finished cleaning up the wiring for the controls and got the panel back in, with its hinged door, to allow me to slide the keyboard and wacom tray out to work at the #desk

Been tempted to buy a new #3dprinter but that's silly when I have one that just needs fixing. Its been on the shelf for 18months, after the main board's heated bed connections burned out. I got replacement parts and even upgraded to a silicone heating pad, but never had the time/patience to get through #troubleshootingHell to get it working again. Had some free time today, so giving it a shot. I think it's safe to say it needs a bit of calibration again.

Installed the new end stop I printed last night, and #3dprinting a bit more this morning. Getting the settings dialed in a bit better and bed leveled. might be time to replace this old chipped glass plate, but thinking of working on the software side a bit more to try some better slicer settings and build a proper profile for the printer.

Definitely seeing improvement over the last few prints. I’ve only been #3dprinting these toilets because it was the last model I had prepped for my #dollhouse, and it’s got some challenges that make it less than ideal, lots of overhang, hollow, etc, It might be time to come up with another calibration test object which can tell me more about how the printer is actually working and point out ways to tune it. I’ve had my fill of bench and 20mm cubes though, so maybe something a bit more fun for science

dollhouse shelves

I’ve wanted built in book shelves for the den for awhile now. It’s a bit cost prohibitive to start just yet, with so many projects going and not a lot of free time. But the ideas keep bouncing around and can’t be stopped so I went ahead and knocked out a #miniature version for the #dollhouse

Oldhammer Bloodangel Scouts

More of my #miniatures from long ago. I think I must have been 11 when I painted these #bloodangels scouts #warhammer40k #oldhammer
